Privacy policy
This policy explains what the kiLM marketing site (kilm.net) collects, why, and the choices you have. It also makes clear a defining principle of the product itself: the self-hosted kiLM platform runs inside your own perimeter, so your operational data never flows to us.
Last updated: August 2026.
kiLM is a product of POLYCRACY Corporation. For this marketing website and any information you submit through it, POLYCRACY Corporation is the data controller. You can reach us through the Contact section of this site for any privacy question or request.
It matters where data lives. This policy governs the marketing site only; the product is designed so we never see your content.
kilm.net collects only what is described below: what you voluntarily submit through a form, plus consent-gated analytics. This policy applies here.
The platform is self-hosted inside your own infrastructure (or a private managed instance). Your documents, queries, embeddings, and model outputs stay within your boundary — they are not sent to this website or to POLYCRACY.
If we operate a private instance on your behalf, the terms of that engagement — not this website policy — govern how that instance is administered, under contract.
We keep collection to a minimum and tie optional collection to your explicit consent.
When you request a quote, a proof-of-concept, or contact us, we collect what you provide — typically your work email, company, and message. We use it solely to respond to your request and to follow up about kiLM.
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. The analytics script loads only after you opt in via Cookie Settings, and never inside the kiLM product.
We store a small amount of data on your device to remember your language choice and your cookie-consent decision. This is required for the site to work and needs no consent.
Our hosting infrastructure keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and request time) to operate the site securely and prevent abuse. These are retained for a limited period.
This site uses three categories of client-side storage: strictly-necessary (always on), analytics (off until you opt in), and marketing (currently unused, reserved so nothing can load without consent). You can review or change your choice at any time from the Cookie Settings link in the footer; your decision is remembered on your device.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 collects aggregated usage data — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type — to help us improve the site. This data is processed by Google as our analytics provider. It loads only after opt-in, only on this marketing site, and you can withdraw consent at any time via Cookie Settings, which stops further collection.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over the personal data you submitted to us.
Ask us what we hold about you and request a correction.
Ask us to delete the information you submitted through a form.
Withdraw analytics consent anytime, and object to us contacting you.
To exercise any of these, contact us through the Contact section. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site — our cloud hosting provider and, if you opt in, Google Analytics. We keep form submissions only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and our legitimate follow-up, and technical logs for a limited operational period, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Access to this site may be limited to certain regions while kiLM is in early availability. This does not change how the data described here is handled for visitors who can reach the site.
We may update this policy as the site evolves; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, reach out through the Contact section. This page is a plain-language summary of our practices, not legal advice.
